China's first domestically developed large passenger jet C919 has successfully wrapped up its first overseas debut and returned to the Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport on Monday for regular commercial operation.
The narrow-body airliner made its debut on Feb. 20 at the Singapore Airshow, the largest aviation exhibition in Asia. It was labeled as one of the most anticipated products during the five-day event.
Two C919 narrow-body aircraft and three ARJ21 jetliners developed by the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd (COMAC) attended the airshow.
