Over the next two weeks, Chinese airplanes C919 and ARJ21 developed by the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd (COMAC) will conduct showcase flights in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia and Indonesia, according to the company.
The C919 is a narrow-body passenger aircraft with a maximum capacity of 192 seats. Designed with a capacity of 78 to 97 seats and a range of 3,700 km, the ARJ21 can fly in plateau regions and adapt to varying airport conditions.
The showcase flights will lay a foundation for future international sales.
