Flamingos were seen wading through the water at the Tiaozini wetland, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site in Yancheng City, east China's Jiangsu Province, ready for their spring migration.
It was in 2015 that flamingos were first observed at the Tiaozini Wetland. By the end of 2023, the number of flamingos migrating here had been counted for nine consecutive years, and the number had grown from just one to 14.
