China's large civil unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), Wing Loong-2H, has been deployed for the first time in southwest China's Guizhou Province for rainmaking purposes. The drone was launched on Saturday in Liupanshui and the operation lasted nearly 5 hours.
Wing Loong-2H has carried out several rounds of producing artificial precipitation and tests, including in the Qilian Mountains, Panxi region in Sichuan Province, Western Sichuan region, Western Guizhou and Qinghai-Xizang Plateau.
