The world's first hydrogen-energy city train, independently developed by CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd. in northeast China's Jilin Province, carried out a full-load operational test at 160 kilometers per hour on Thursday. It marks a new breakthrough in the application of hydrogen energy in rail transportation.
The average energy consumption per kilometer of the train is only 5 kWh, and the maximum cruising range can reach more than 1,000 kilometers.
