Apple CEO Tim Cook on Thursday opened Apple's newest store in China's Shanghai in front of a large crowd. Cook opened the store's doors and flashed a victory sign with his fingers before greeting customers.
The store is located on West Nanjing Road in central Shanghai and faces the landmark Jing'an Temple. The latest Shanghai move augmented Apple's local retail network to 47 stores in the Chinese mainland, second only to the United States. Reputed as Asia's largest Apple Store, it has attracted a large number of shoppers.
