Insights丨Rector of Unicamp: Transition to renewables important to Brazilian-Chinese cooperation

Transition to an economy based on renewable energy and products is an important area of Brazilian-Chinese cooperation, said Almeida José de Almeida Meirelles, rector of the State University of Campinas in Brazil (Unicamp), during an interview with China News Network recently.     

He added that Unicamp has strong ties with Chinese institutions and universities. It is also trying to spread its experience in the fields of Chinese Studies, human science, and language science to other areas of expertise at Unicamp. (Wu Jiaju, Xue Lingqiao)
