Mercedes-Benz CEO: We believe in long-term economic development of Chinese market

In an interview with China News Service on Tuesday, Mercedes-Benz CEO Ola Kallenius demonstrated that he believes in the long-term economic development of the Chinese market. "We are continuing to invest in the Chinese market, not only in the production capacity, but also in research and development," he explained. "This is another important step in building that already very strong relationship."　

Federal Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz　arrived in Chongqing Municipality on Sunday to kick off his three-day official visit to China. He left Shanghai for Beijing on Monday evening.　Scholz is being accompanied by senior representatives of a number of renowned German companies, including Siemens, Bayer, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Zeiss.
