China's Chongqing launches first regular drone delivery route

The Chongqing branch of China Post inaugurated its first routine drone delivery route on Wednesday, connecting the Banan District's Urban Collection and Zhongba Island in Lianhua Subdistrict. The drone delivers　letters, newspapers, parcels to Zhongba Island. This launch represents a major milestone as Chongqing's first regular drone mail route.　

The new drone route operates daily, weather and airspace permitting, with a single round-trip flight. Each drone can carry up to 100 kilograms of goods and complete a round trip in less than 45 minutes, significantly reducing delivery time.
