A pair of giant pandas, Bao Li and Qing Bao, which arrived at the Washington Zoo Tuesday, are both doing well, said Brandie Smith, director of the Smithsonian's National Zoo in Washington, D.C. "They are exploring their habitat."
"We just got the recipe for panda bread. It's hard to tell if they have jet lag, they were awake early this morning, so they seem to be doing even better than the keepers and veterinarians who were traveling with them," said Smith.
