Insights | Danish sinologist underscores people-to-people communication between different cultures

 

The International Conference on Studies of the Community for the Chinese Nation, the parallel session of the Second World Conference of Sinologists, was held on Wednesday at the Palace of China Ethnic Cultures in Beijing.

Carsten B. Thøgersen, Danish sinologist and former Consul-General of Denmark in Shanghai, said in an exclusive interview with China News Network that it's important that foreigners visit China to see for themselves, to meet Chinese people and to speak with them so that they can understand China much better.
