Fushun City in Liaoning Province is known for Lei Feng. Sixty years ago, Mao Zedong inscribed the words "Learn from Comrade Lei Feng." Since then, a nationwide craze for learning from Lei Feng has been ignited.

Brazilian young director Miguel Antunes Ramos, after reading Lei Feng's diary, was deeply inspired. He ventured into Fushun, delving into the Lei Feng spirit through the words and actions of military writer Hu Shizong; and in the small acts of the people of Fushun, he sought the traces of Lei Feng.
