(ECNS) -- The Belt and Road Initiative launched by China helps open landlocked African countries to the world through development of ports, railways and roads, said Alaa Ezz, secretary general of the Union of African Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Agriculture and Professions, during an interview with China News Network.
Ezz made the remarks at the Second China International Supply Chain Expo, which concluded in Beijing on Saturday.
Besides, Ezz stressed the significance of digitalization, highlighting China's key role in promoting software and e-commerce development. (Chen Tianhao, Zhao Li)
