China made headways in ecological and environmental protection in 2024. During an interview with China, Anderson Alves, UNDP technical specialist, noted that China has adopted innovative agricultural methods that are less harmful to the environment in agriculture.
In addition, as a party to the Stockholm Convention, China has assumed it a global commitment to phase out the production and consumption of highly hazardous chemicals.
