Celebrated conductor shares essence of Chinese culture with the world through music

"A conductor is like a switch of an orchestra,"　said Li Xincao, an accomplished conductor, who is also the president of the China Conservatory of Music.　

Starting his career as an assistant conductor with the China National Symphony Orchestra in 1991, Li has been holding himself and the orchestra to the highest standards, uncompromising in his pursuit of musical perfection.　

By integrating performance with storytelling, Li has dedicated himself into the lifelong journey of sharing China's narrative through an Eastern lens and cultural context, while highlighting the defining moments of the rich civilization.
