Living at a local couple's house, Xi chatted a lot with the couple's daughter and the girl was amazed to know that Xi had watched a series of U.S. movies in China. Xi brought a bottle of medicinal liquor as gift for his U.S. host and received popcorn when he left.
Xi said about the visit: "So far we have learned a lot, seen a lot and achieved a lot. The impression of the U.S. is very good, I think. We have seen a lot of your advanced technology. The people here are very warm and very friendly. They too have left a very deep impression on us."
