Nine miners were killed and 16 others injured in a coal mine blast in Bayannur of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region as the rescue wrapped up late Monday, officials said. The accident occured early Monday morning to a coal mine belonging to Xingya Coal Development Co., Ltd. of Urad Front Banner, Bayannur City, sources with Inner Mongolia's work safety supervision bureau said.
