Male nurses overcome hurdles in SW China (1/4)

Sun, 35, can still clearly remember when he started his nursing career 11 years ago, his friends, classmates and even parents could not understand his choice, and some of them thought he was wasting his time. Even the patients were not willing to let him give injections at the beginning. However, people's doubts and misgivings were gradually erased by his proficiency and persistence. China has only 21,000 registered male nurses, accounting for 1 percent of the total of 2.18 million.
