Flood peak passes China's Chongqing (1/3)

Photo taken on July 6, 2012 shows the flooded Ciqikou Ancient Town of Chongqing, southwest China. The flood peak of Jiangling River, highest of this year, passed the city zone of Chongqing on Friday and converged into the Yangtze River, temporarily flooding the Ciqikou Ancient Town. The water level of Jiangling River will quickly descend 12.58 meters in two days, according to the local hydrologic monitoring station. (Xinhua/Liu Chan)
