Photo taken on Sept. 2, 2012 shows a dead fish on the bank of Poyang Lake after water level declined in Duchang, east China's Jiangxi Province. Due to persistent drought and improper human activity, water levels at China's largest freshwater lake, Poyang Lake, have dropped rapidly over the past two weeks, from its two-year low of 19.65 meters on Aug. 13 to 16.47 meters on Sept. 2.
