Railway linking Lhasa and Xigaze under construction (1/5)

Workers are busy at a construction site of the railway linking Lhasa and Xigaze in southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, Sept. 21, 2012. The railway runs 253 kilometers with a designed transportation capacity of more than 8.3 million tonnes every year. The construction work started in 2010 and it is estimated to finish in 2014.
