Shanghai holds rescue drill for civil aircraft in distress(1/5)

A helicopter performs rescue task during a drill in Shanghai, east China, Sept. 26, 2012. Co-hosted by the Ministry of Transport and Shanghai Municipal Government, the drill is the first one to use a civil aircraft for rescue and aims to rescue 140 passengers and 10 crew members on board. With over 20 ships, 4 helicopters and more than 150 volunteers participated, the drill ended with success as all trapped persons got saved. (Xinhua/Pei Xin)
