Air quality slightly better than last year in Shanxi (1/5)

Photo taken on Nov. 12, 2012 shows an overview of Taiyuan, capital of north China's Shanxi Province. According to statistics issued by Taiyuan's Environmental Protection Bureau, Taiyuan has seen 91 days of level I air quailty and 294 days of level II up to Sunday, which is slightly better than the city saw last year. China has used a five-level classification of air quality for its pollution indices, with level I being the best and level V the worst. (Xinhua/Fan Minda)
