10 tons of fish buried alive at landfill in S China (1/10)

Fish which were removed from a pond of a park in Foshan, Guangdong province are dumped onto a truck on June 5, 2014. Altogether 10 tons of live fish have been netted and buried alive at a landfill site. Under pressure of citizens’ complaints about dead fish in the pond, the park organizer concluded after observation that the large number of fish overloads the pond's ecosystem. [Photo: CFP]
