Healthcare
Britain announced the signing of more than 2 billion pounds ($3.06 billion) in healthcare trade deals between China and UK companies, universities and organizations.
Finance
People's Bank of China issued its first onshore renminbi bonds in London. The bonds are worth 511 million pounds, with an interest rate of 3.1 percent.
Insurance market LIoyd's of London struck a partnership agreement helping China Taiping expand its global business network.
China and Britain have renewed their local currency swap agreement for another three years and increased the swap line from 20.44 million pounds to 35.77 million pounds.

Engineer Rolls-Royce has signed a deal worth 1.4 billion pounds with HNA Group to provide Trent 700 engines to power 20 Airbus A330s. Rolls-Royce and HNA Group have also agreed to a Total Care package to produce nine Trent 700 engines and 15 Trent XWB engines.

Oil industry
BP has signed a 650 million pound liquefied natural gas supply deal with Huadian.
BP will supply about 1 million tons of LNG per year to Huadian, China's largest gas-fired power generator.
Cruise
Carnival Corp, the world's largest cruise ship operator, has signed a 2.6 billion pound deal to make new ships.
Culture, education and entertainment
A branch of the Legoland amusement parks is to open in Shanghai under a 195 million pound joint venture investment by Britain's Merlin Entertainments Plc.
The University of York has developed a TV trading program worth 200 million pounds working with China Capital Investment Group. The program will recruit up to 300 international students a year.
