(ECNS) -- China’s independently developed third-generation superconducting quantum computer, Origin Wukong, has received record-breaking 20 million plus visits globally.
Data shows that Origin Wukong has been accessed from 139 countries and regions worldwide, among which, users from the U.S., Russia, Japan, and Canada are among the most active. Notably, the U.S. ranks first in overseas access volume.

The quantum computer is powered by Wukong, a 72-qubit indigenous superconducting quantum chip. It is China’s latest and most advanced programmable and deliverable superconducting quantum computer.
Since its launch on Jan. 6, 2024, Origin Wukong has completed over 339,000 quantum computing tasks, covering fields such as fluid dynamics, finance, and biomedicine.
Notably, a research team, composed of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence under Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center, the University of Science and Technology of China, and other institutions, successfully conducted the world's largest quantum computational fluid dynamics simulation using Origin Wukong.
