Entrepreneurs receive awards for public image

Global entrepreneurs and industrial leaders gathered in Beijing on Jan 9 to receive the 2011 Hua De Awards - Shanghai Volkswagen, one of major awards for entrepreneurs in China founded by Global Talents Media Group.

Haier Group, Wanxiang Group and China Aerospace Science and Industry Corp, were awarded China's best enterprises in a survey of the public image of global entrepreneurs.

China Film Group Chairman Han Sanping, New Hope Group President Liu Yonghao and five other entrepreneurs gained the award of China's most respected entrepreneurs.

Xavier Fontanet, president of Essilor Inc, and Gérard Mestrallet, chairman of the board and chief executive for GDF SUEZ, were awarded most respected entrepreneurs around the globe.

Dong Wenbiao, president of China Minsheng Banking Corp Ltd, came out on No 1 in a survey of the public impression of China's top 100 financial entrepreneurs.

Moreover, Apple Inc and its founder, the late Steve Jobs, were given the Global Best Enterprises Award and Lifetime Achievement Award for Global Economic Figures.

On the basis of the principles of openness, fairness and justice, the 2011 Hua De Awards - Shanghai Volkswagen had three levels of evaluation index system. The first level indicator was an evaluation of reputation, performance, corporate reputation, social responsibility, competence; the second was a scientific data analysis with Global Entrepreneur Satisfaction Index Model CCSIM, and the third level was the result of 15% online survey, 10% employee interviews, 35% investigation on the street, and 40% telephone survey.
