Shao Xun, who was involved with a gang who targeted passengers on the Trans-Siberian Express, robbing and attacking them, was sentenced to 15 years' jail at Beijing Railway Transportation Court Thursday, the Legal Mirror reported.
Shao, 42, is the last of the 83 suspects involved in the cross-border crime spree to be caught and sentenced. While he was on the run, Shao went to temples as a monk, sneaked into Hong Kong, became a millionaire in Shenzhen and was involved in lots of charitable work before being arrested at a charity event.
