A migrant worker was pierced by a steel bar after it fell from a construction site at Dongdaqiao, Chaoyang district Saturday, the Beijing Evening News reported on February 11.
Song Xuezhi was speared by the bar from his back to his abdomen. Song's lung and liver were both pierced, but his condition is now stable.
