The city's marriage registration offices today opened half an hour earlier than usual to cope with the expected Valentine's Day wedding rush, the Beijing Evening News reported Monday.
Over 2,100 couples had already made an appointment via the official website of the Beijing Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau as of yesterday, and it's estimated that over 4,000 couples plan to tie the knot Tuesday.
