A man who stole and killed dogs, selling them for 30 yuan per kilogram, was detained by police, Beijing Municipal Public Security announced via Weibo on February 18.
Police found the man surnamed Zhao was suspicious when he moved a big bag from a bike to a car last Tuesday. Police then checked the car and discovered a bag full of dead dogs that Zhao had shot. Zhao said he used a bow with strong anesthetic to kill the dogs, before selling them.
