About 7 million people in the city are expected to be on the move during the upcoming Tomb-Sweeping holiday this year, local authorities said Wednesday.
Travel is expected to peak on the last day of the national holiday, which runs from April 2 to 4, with some 2.5 million people visiting their ancestors.
Some 600,000 cars are also expected to occupy the roads during the holiday.
