Border police in south China's Guangdong province have repatriated 115 Vietnamese job seekers after they were nabbed for illegal entry into China.
The illegal immigrants, including 88 males and 27 females, were arrested on Feb. 8 at three different places in Guangdong after they sneaked across the border into adjacent Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region three days earlier, sources with the Guangdong frontier defense forces said on Tuesday.
They were repatriated to Vietnam on Feb. 10, police said.
The Vietnamese, aged between 17 and 28, traveled to Guangdong to look for work opportunities, according to the police.
Police also nabbed six Chinese drivers for participating in the smuggling.
