Beijingers are getting better at planning their spring outings as this year's Tomb-sweeping Festival approaches, according to the Legal Mirror.
People have now learned to avoid the mass traffic at weekends near the festival, instead choosing weekdays to go and pay their respects.
Peak visits to the city's suburban cemeteries during the festival have decreased from 371,000 people in 2009 to 287,000 people last year.
