At least 20 people were injured, including three people severely injured, after a blast toppled a biopharmaceutical plant in Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei province, Tuesday afternoon.
A reaction kettle exploded from excessive pressure at around 1 p.m., causing a workshop to collapse at the Luyuan Biological Product Plant, firefighters said.
It was not yet known whether anyone was killed in the blast or in the collapse.
Firefighters are rushing to pull people out of the debris.
