Philippine policemen have arrested a suspected killer of a Filipino-Chinese trader in the southern Philippines, police said Wednesday.
The suspect, Ingracio Mandanga, 24, was arrested at his apartment not far from the grocery store where he allegedly stabbed to death Henry Lu Ong, 55, local police commander Francisco Pana III said Wednesday.
Authorities recovered two handguns from the suspects as well his T-shirt with bloodstain.
Ong, owner of Universal Grocery in the southern city of Davao, was found by his wife, Ana, dead with multiple stabbing wounds at the third floor of their grocery store on Monday.
Police will file criminal charges against the suspect who worked before with the slain trader.
