(Ecns.cn) -- Strong winds have been invading Beijing since Thursday afternoon, resisting the coming of Spring which just warmed up the capital city in the past two days, Qianlong.com reported.
Air quality is worsening, municipal environmental protection monitoring authority indicated.
Authorities also warned residents to keep on alert against fires and falling objects from tall buildings.
Meteorological experts say the havoc will come to an end on Saturday and another round of temperature climbing is expected.
