Forest growers seek tree adopters

Local conservationist group Beijing Afforestation Fund (BAF) is seeking support for its 16-acre tree adoption center in the Badaling National Forest Park, Changping district. Supporting three trees for a year at the cost of 30 to 50 yuan ($4.76-7.93) a tree in the center gives the adopter free admission into the forest park, the Legal Mirror reported yesterday. Some 2,785 BAF trees have been adopted since 2010.
