The Seychelles is to see 50 Chinese couples get married and spend their honeymoon in the Indian Ocean island country in July, the Seychelles Tourism Board said on Thursday.
The event will coincide with a Seychelles-Sino culture week, the board said. China is the fastest-growing outbound tourism market for the Seychelles.
Last year, visitors from China, which is still considered a secondary market, increased by 95 percent, according to the Seychelles Tourism Board. A world famous tourist destination, the Seychelles is especially popular for honeymooners.
