On May 22, a group of staff workers from Nippon Paint China arrived in Jiuquan, Gansu Province, to attend the project completion ceremony of the first Nippon Green Hope primary school in this area.

The staff workers from Nippon Paint also taught the students basic knowledge on environment protection. "It's such a great pleasure to actually be here at the moment," said Ariel Wu, PR director of Nippon Paint China. "2012 marks the 20th anniversary of founding our first branch in China. And this is also the first step of our 'Color, way of love' program. Nippon Paint will continuously bring our love of color and hope to children in the future."

Staff workers from the Regional Head Office have long been preparing for this opening. To realize the students' dreams, presents like computers, musical instruments and sports equipment were carefully packed up for the students one month before the start of this program. The smile on the young faces then made all the efforts worthwhile.

Ever since the foundation of the first Nippon Hope primary school in 2001, Nippon Paint has helped set up more than 26 hope schools in 15 provinces in China. This year they combined their original program of "Nippon Paint, extending the excellence on the earth" to the "Color, way of love" program, in order to make a greater contribution to environmental protection. Apart from the annual return visits, staff workers will participate in "Make my dream come true" activities in the 26 hope schools. Dreams are gradually coming true with care and love from Nippon Paint.

Nippon Paint, one of the largest paint manufacturers in Asia, was founded in Japan in 1881 and today produces over one million tons of paint and coatings annually.
