LOT Polish national carrier on Tuesday resumed direct flights between Warsaw and Beijing after a four-year break, as a Boeing 767 plane took Poland's First Lady Anna Komorowska, government members, company authorities and businessmen to China.
The Polish Airlines held the inaugural ceremony for Warsaw-Beijing direct flight route in Warsaw's Frederic Chopin airport on Monday afternoon.
Flights from Warsaw to Beijing will leave on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays and from Beijing for Warsaw on Mondays, Wednesday's and Fridays.
As of 2014, LOT will service the route every day, the airline's CEO Marcin Pirog said.
