Chinese astronauts in good condition after landing

Chinese astronauts, including the country's first female astronaut Liu Yang, are in good physical condition after the successful landing of Shenzhou-9 spacecraft, said ground medical staff after examination.

Medical staff entered the return capsule of Shenzhou-9 spacecraft to check the physical conditions of astronauts, after the capsule landed in north China Friday morning.

Three ambulance helicopters were deployed at the landing site of the return capsule of Shenzhou-9 spacecraft and awaited orders.

The three astronauts would receive immediate treatment if they feel sick after the capsule landed.
