Man keeps dad’s corpse

A man who hid his father's dead body for over six months in order to get his pension was detained by Shunyi police, the Beijing Daily reported Tuesday.

Residents found black liquid oozing from a home on the fifth floor of a building in Shunyi district early this summer. They called police after failing to find the owner.

Police found the son, surnamed Li, who admitted he had hidden his 80-year-old father's body since January.
