NHK Symphony Orchestra @ NCPA

Japan's NHK Symphony Orchestra performs before the baton of well-known Japanese conductor Tadaaki Otaka at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) on September 1 to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Normalization of Diplomatic Relations between China and Japan.

Performing songs on the night including "Gentle Wind" by Takemitsu Toru and "Symphony No. 5 in E Minor" by Tchaikovsky, the ensemble promises to deliver an enchanting evening.

Chinese pianist Chen Sa also performs in support.

Shen Fanxiu @ Forbidden City Concert Hall

Chinese organist Shen Fanxiu performs with accompaniment by violinist Li Da and cellist Yu Jia at the Forbidden City Concert Hall this Thursday night. Among songs to be performed are classics from movies including Titanic (1997), Laputa: Castle In The Sky (1986) and Schindler's List (1993).

Firewind @ Tango Club
