The wife of Zhang Liang, a 30-year-old engineer who has been in coma for weeks due to malaria, a disease he was infected with while working in Africa, is desperately seeking 100 blood donors with blood type AB, to help save his life, the Beijing Evening News reported Wednesday.
The only way to revive Zhang is to change the blood in his body by transfusion, the doctor says, and so far, more than 90 people, mostly Zhang's friends and relatives have donated. Donors can go to the Beijing Red Cross Blood Center or contact Zhang's friend on 13717700495.
