Four people were killed and one remains buried following an equipment collapse that occurred at a construction site in northwest China's Shaanxi province Wednesday, local authorities said.
A raft board collapsed at a carpet factory construction site in the city of Yulin around 10 a.m., trapping 18 workers, the city government said in a press release.
As of 7:30 p.m., rescuers had found 17 of the workers, four of whom were dead, it said.
Rescuers are still searching for the missing worker.
The cause of the accident is unknown. Police are questioning those in charge of the construction.
