The Nhan Dan (People) newspaper, the voice of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), was officially broadcast in Chinese on its website Thursday.
Addressing the launching ceremony, which was held in capital Hanoi, Dinh The Huynh, secretary of the CPV's Central Committee and head of the Popularization and Education Commission, said that the launching of the Chinese version will contribute to strengthening public broadcasting of the country's external information in the international integration process and boosting friendly cooperation between Vietnam and China.
Thuan Huu, Nhan Dan's editor-in-chief said that the launching of the Chinese version plays an important role in implementing Vietnam's foreign policy of diversification and multi- lateralization, and introducing the beauty of the country and people of Vietnam and the fine traditional friendship between Vietnam and China.
Nhan Dan newspaper, the central organ of the Communist Party of Vietnam, published the first issue on March 11, 1951. Its first online publication was issued on June 21, 1998 in Vietnamese and English, becoming the first daily newspaper broadcasting online.
