U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton left Beijing Wednesday evening, wrapping up her two-day visit to China.
During her stay in Beijing, Clinton met with Chinese President Hu Jintao, Premier Wen Jiabao, Vice Premier Li Keqiang and State Councilor Dai Bingguo, and she also held talks with her counterpart Yang Jiechi.
This was her second trip to China this year. In May, she attended the fourth round of the China-U.S. Strategic and Economic Dialogue as special representative of President Barack Obama.
Her visit came as part of a six-nation tour of China, the Cook Islands, Indonesia, East Timor, Brunei and Russia that started on Aug. 30.
