South Korea plans to send humanitarian aid to China following the deadly earthquake that ravaged the southwestern Yunnan Province, the Foreign Ministry said Tuesday.
South Korean and Chinese authorities are currently in consultations over the aid worth some 500,000 U.S. dollars, to be delivered to quake victims in Yunnan and Guizhou provinces, according to the ministry.
Twin earthquakes and aftershocks hit the region last Friday, killing at least 80 people and injuring 820 others.
