China's central government has allocated 750 million yuan (118.3 million U.S. dollars) for quake relief and reconstruction efforts in southwestern province of Yunnan, according to an announcement from the Ministry of Civil Affairs on Tuesday.
Another 30 million yuan was given to neighboring Guizhou Province, which was also affected by the quakes on Friday.
Disaster relief materials, including 10,000 tents, 20,000 quilts and 20,000 cotton-padded overcoats, have also been sent to quake-hit areas, the ministry said.
Multiple earthquakes hit a mountainous area in Yunnan on Sept. 7, leaving 81 people dead and 821 injured.
